AV Manager (Location: Duluth, GA, USA)



The AV Manager works with customers, project managers, account managers, and IT managers to design, guide, and install our products into existing and newly developed audiovisual systems to meet our customers’ specific needs. Using advanced understanding of design, programing, and installation of AV systems, you’ll help create dynamic learning and training environments in various markets and applications.

What you'll be doing
  • Provide technical and design expertise to support the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions
  • Research and analyze the capabilities of various available hardware and software options that can (and cannot) complement WolfVision solutions
  • Plan, design, and integrate an audiovisual system of various hardware and software components that work together as an integrated system
  • Redesign, simplify, and upgrade existing designs and systems
  • Maintain positive and effective communication with customers and other employees through video-call, telephone, and face-to-face meetings
  • Training customers and internal staff on the system
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years AV and/or IT industry experience (or equivalent technology field)
  • Prior experience in the design, installation, and service of audio, video, and presentation systems
  • Solid computer skills and deep knowledge in Crestron/AMX and Extron programing as well as CAD software and drawings (certifications are preferred)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized, able to work with diverse groups
  • Able to effectively handle stressful situations
  • Able to read and design engineering schematics
  • The following certifications are preferred: CTS; CTS-I/D, DMC-D/E, DSCE, ACE-D/I
  • Some independent travel required
  • German and/or Spanish language skills are a plus (but not required)

Project Manager: Product development (m/f)



Responsibilities:

You will lead interdisciplinary project teams throughout the entire product development process, and also take responsibility for the transition into production.
  • Establishment of overall concepts for new hardware and software developments
  • Design and control of the specification, time schedule, and project budget
  • Resource planning, coordination, and control of project teams
  • Coordination and control of external development partners and suppliers
  • Transition from product development into production
  • Production support
  • Reporting directly to senior management
Requirements

You have several years’ professional experience as a project manager, and preferably a technical university education in electronics, computer science or physics. You have excellent knowledge of project management, electronics, information and communications technology. Experience in using agile development methods are an advantage.

As a team member with responsibility for a project, you will independently develop complete embedded systems from the concept stage through to series production. In addition you will support the existing electronics team in the maintenance and further development of firmware for our current product range.

Quality technician (m/f)



Responsibilities:

You support the existing quality assurance team in ensuring product and process quality from initial article inspection through to serial production:
  • Define quality requirements for components
  • Active and preventative quality assurance
  • Ensure product quality through continuous process optimization
  • Checking of incoming goods using testing concepts
  • Creation of test plans and error catalogues
  • Processing of quality-related complaints
  • Involvement in the optimization of quality assurance-related processes
  • Support for the project teams, and provide support to the production team
Requirements

You have a technical training in either electronics or electro-mechanics as well as several years of professional experience. Knowledge of quality assurance tools and methods is an advantage. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and possibly experience of working with ERP/PPS systems complete your profile.
