The LAN The LAN (Local Area Network) is a computer network covering a small physical area, like a home, office, or small group of buildings, such as a school, or an airport. The defining characteristics of LANs, in contrast to wide-area networks (WANs), include their usually higher data-transfer rates, smaller geographic range, and lack of a need for leased telecommunication lines. port of the Visualizer can be used to capture and transfer Visualizer images onto a computer. In this way the Visualizer can be used as a scanner for 3-dimensional objects for your computer.
Additionally the Visualizer can be controlled with the computer and firmware updates can be performed.
Through the LAN port (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX), the Visualizer is also accessible over the internet.
The Visualizer has a built-in web server and can be accessed through a standard Internet browser or WolfVision Connectivity Software from a connected computer.
(Firmware updates via LAN require WolfVision Connectivity Software.)
