WolfVision GmbH Austria is the leading manufacturer of Visualizers / document cameras.
Visualizers are special optoelectronic appliances designed to pick up objects on its working surface in perfect quality quickly and easily. They are mainly used for training and education and as document cameras for videoconferencing.

WolfVision is renowned worldwide
as the “Technology Leader“ and the only high end manufacturer in this field of business. In addition to the "high end" WolfVision has also established itself with great products in the middle price range. Only the "low end" is not covered by WolfVision. Compared to car manufacturers WolfVision has the "Rolls Royce, Mercedes and Volkswagen of Visualizers".
The key to WolfVisions worldwide success is the concentration of the whole company on the product "Visualizer" and the very high investments in research and development (10% of the turnover). |
WolfVision is a pioneer in the industry and has been developing and manufacturing Visualizers for more than two decades. Many of today's standards in "Visualizer technology" were developed and first introduced by WolfVision.

In 1966 Josef
Wolf set up "Wolf Audio-Visuals" which was one of the first companies in what was later called "the AV market".
In 1974 he introduced one of the first document cameras (then called "Video
overhead") in Austria. By that time all units were custom-made. |

In 1988 Josef Wolf was one of the creators of the worldwide patented WolfVision Visualizer
system. It was a big sensation at that year's Photokina exhibition and received
many prestigious awards.
In 1989 serial production started and Visualizers were soon sold worldwide in all major markets. |

In 1994 Josef
Wolf's sons George Wolf and Martin Wolf set up the company WolfVision
GmbH and concentrated 100% on the product "Visualizer".
The company soon offered a wide range of Visualizer models and introduced a great number of useful "Visualizer features" over the years. Innovations like the Ceiling Visualizer underlined WolfVision's position as the company which sets the standards in the Visualizer industry.

In the following years WolfVision set up distribution offices in USA, Singapore, Japan, Canada and UK in order to optimize worldwide sales and customer support.
2002 and 2007 "WolfVision GmbH Austria" was split into 3 companies, with "WolfVision Holding AG" on top and the R&D department operating as a separate company (WolfVision Innovation GmbH). Nevertheless, all WolfVision companies still work closely together and are 100% managed and in possession of the family Wolf. |

2008 will see another milestone in the history of WolfVision. In August we will move into our new company building, which is being built at the moment.
Meanwhile our research and development department is working with a record breaking budget on new developments which will delight our customers soon. |
