The USB and LAN port (if available) of a WolfVision device can be used to capture and transfer pictures onto a computer. In this way the Visualizer/camera can be used as a scanner for 3-dimensional objects for your computer. Additionally the device can be controlled with the computer. The application is a easy-to-use tool which offers the following features: - Image capture in different modes * Still Image: Single image capture with selectable image resolution (from QVGA up to the native camera resolution) provided by the Visualizer * Continuous View: Image stream with selectable image resolution (from QVGA up to the native camera resolution) provided by the Visualizer - Saving captured images in following image formats * Microsoft Bitmap Graphic (.bmp) * JPEG/JIFF Image (.jpg, .jpeg) * PC Paintbrush Bitmap Graphic (.pcx) * Portable Network Graphic (.png) * PBM Portable AnyMap Graphic (.ppm) * Raw RGB 24-bit Graphic (.raw) * Silicon Graphics IRIS Graphic (.sgi) * Tagged Image Format (.tif) - Auto saving images (filename, directory and file format are predefined) with configurable save trigger * Saves captured images if the user presses a shortcut key or a menu item/toolbar button * Saves captured images every x seconds (Timer mode) * Saves all single captured images without any user interaction - Saving a sequences of images as Quicktime movie file - Still image movie recording with two different modi.
