Two years extra warranty for new units

WolfVision is renowned worldwide as the “Technology Leader” and the only high-end manufacturer of Visualizers. As we are convinced about the longevity of our products, we have now introduced the possibility, after registration, to extend the warranty period from the standard three years to five.

Please note that the warranty extension is only valid for units which have been purchased as from the 1st July 2010 onwards (Customers in USA and Canada can register units purchased after 1st January 2010, as this system has been introduced earlier in North America). In order to benefit from this warranty extension, it is essential that the official registration, including the required end-user details, is within three months of the effective purchase date.

Self-adhesive replacement working surfaces

Self-adhesive replacement working surfacesAlthough all WolfVision Visualizer working surfaces are resilient and easily cleaned, in certain working environments where, for example, permanent markers or colourants are used, it is naturally possible that the Visualizer’s working surface can be permanently stained.

In such cases WolfVision now offers a simple solution in the form of a non-reflective protective foil, which is self-adhesive and can be easily applied to the original working surface.

The self-adhesive replacement working surface is available as an accessory for the Portable Desktop Visualizers (VZ-5/7/8/9).

Firmware update including "Deep Standby" mode

"Green Visualizer"“Going Green” and “Corporate Social Responsibility” are quite the buzz these days. Social and ecological responsibility at WolfVision, however, has always been a core issue.

The recently released firmware updates for the VZ-9plus³, VZ-P18, VZ-P38, VZ-C12³ and newer versions of VZ-9plus, VZ-C12² and VZ-C32 Visualizers include the new “green” feature “Deep Standby” which reduces the power consumption in “Standby” mode by a further 35-55% (dependent on the Visualizer model in use).

Once the “Deep Standby” mode has been activated, the Visualizer in question can not be powered on remotely via USB or LAN. The “Deep Standby” mode, therefore, is ideal for all users who either power the Visualizer on manually (power key on the unit) or via the RS232 interface (RMS).
