New Ceiling Visualizers VZ-C12³ and VZ-C32³
The Third Edition

At the ISE 2009 in Amsterdam WolfVision introduced the Third Edition of the Ceiling Visualizers VZ-C123 and VZ-C323.

The product launch was a great success and our customers and dealers were very enthusiastic about the new Visualizers.

Both units clearly show WolfVision's attitude towards perfection. Many important details have been further improved and some innovative new features have been added:

The VZ-C123 comes with a state of the art 1-CCD SXGA- camera with 820 lines resolution, while the VZ-C323 features a brand new 3-CCD SXGA- camera with 1200 lines resolution and 100% lifelike colors.

Both units now have 3 native resolutions in all 3 popular aspect ratios:

  • SXGA- 1280x960 pixel - 4:3
  • WXGA 1280x800 pixel - 16:10
  • 720p HD 1280x720 pixel - 16:9

The new Ceiling Visualizers will be available as from the middle of April 2009. Prices (in Euro and US-$) remain the same as with the previous units VZ-C122 and VZ-C32.

The most important new features of the "third edition" are:

  • Maintenance Free High-Brightness LED Light System
(higher light output, less power consumption, no more changing of lamps)

  • Additional LAN-Features like Streaming in Multicast and Singlecast (Unicast) Mode, Authentication etc. *

  • Integrated Seamless Switch with Fading Effects *

  • Advanced Keystone Correction

  • USB-Host Port for Connecting USB-Sticks (as an Extension of the Image Memory etc.)

  • Advanced Controlling with Professional Protocol via RS232, LAN and USB *

  • Low Power Consumption (50W), very Quiet Operation

  • New Mainboard with even more Computing Power and Additional Resources *
(for more features and enhancements to be added at a later date via Firmware Updates)

New Features for Visualizer VZ-9plus

The features above marked with * are an integrated part of the new WolfVision mainboard which has already been used in all VZ-9plus Visualizers produced since August 2008 (starting with serial number 1008068).

Therfore, these features can also be found on all new VZ-9plus Visualizers and they can be added to all units sold since August 2008 via a Firmware Update. We would also recommend that you use the latest version of the WolfVision Connectivity Software for the update, as it automatically detects the correct file for the Firmware Update.

More details regarding the new features will follow in the next newsletter.
