New Firmware UpdatesWolfVision is the only manufacturer of Visualizers who offers Firmware Updates. This allows new features and technical improvements to be added at no cost. It also offers the possibility to adapt units to new industry standards, which prevailed on the market long after the Visualizers were manufactured. Here is a little example: Back in 2005 - when WolfVision added Widescreen Support to most Visualizer models via Firmware Updates - most manufacturers in the industry defined the resolution "WXGA" with 1366 x 768 pixels and "SXGA+" with 1360 x 1024 pixels. However, 2 years later most manufacturers of monitors and projectors work with a different number of pixels. These days "WXGA" with 1360 x 768 pixels and SXGA+ with 1400 x 1050 pixels are much more common. No problem if you own a WolfVision Visualizer. When applying the latest Firmware Updates, these resolutions are changed to the new "standards". During the last 3 months WolfVision released new firmware updates for all current Visualizer and Camera models, plus updates for a lot of previous units. Click here to go to the Firmware Update page.
All Visualizers with a USB or LAN port released after 2002 can be easily updated using this software. Current and previous Visualizer models can also be updated via a serial RS232 connection and the Firmware Update Utility for RS232.
